i was going to make this a poll. but there's alot of schools.
Current - i've been debating this one for about 20 minutes. but i think im going to go with uconn. caron. hamilton. gordon. jesus. emeka. donyell marshall.
arizone comes close for me too though. arenas. bibby. andre. jefferson. stoudamire. jason terry.
All Time - I'm going with UCLA. kareem. goodrich. walton. reggie. m johnson. b diddy. vandeweghe.

North Carolina - Rasheed, Haywood, Jamison, Vince, Stack, McInnis
All Time - Georgetown with the Mutombo/Zo/Ewing monster combo and AI?

surprisingly duke doesn't produce, for as good of a college team as they usually have.
i agree with the bruins, or UNC... i mean not to sound cliche but UNC had MJ

MJ is retired buddy
and Duke is still a good team...Brand, Battier, Boozer, Maggette, Dunleavy, Hill?

add last years draft to the carolina list
Both Michigan and M.State have produced some fine ball players

that just wouldn't be fair...to me this is easily the best team with current players
McCants, the Williams duo, felton and may

i meant in comparison to how well their team does. sure they're gonna produce good players, but they aren't as consistent as you'd think.

Brand, and Grant Hill are the only players from Duke who lived up to the hype.
Maggette is getting there

High School wins: KG, Lebron, Kobe, Jermaine
Whatever happened to Georgetown? They were a powerhouse back in the day. did they even make it to the tourny last year?

Seriously, I'd say Uconn has the best thing going right now. All-time is difficult though.
UNC and UCLA have to be 1-2 I believe, not sure which order though
Talib Scottie
12/05/05, 02:47 PM
UNC - Bob McAdoo, Phil Ford, Worthy, Jordan, Perkins, Brad Daughtery, Kenny Smith, Rick Fox, George Lynch, Stackhouse, Rasheed, McInnis, Jamison, Carter, Shammond Williams, Haywood...
Roy Williams Larry Brown and George Karl if you want to consider coaches, Julius Peppers and Ronald Curry if you consider the NFL... hah
Can't find a UCLA list. but here's the UNC one.. http://www.tarheelreview.com/pro_heels.html

I remember a while back ESPN did a tournament simulation if players had to graduate before going pro, it was like 98 but basically Duke had Kobe Bryant (he signed a letter of intent before turning pro), Elton Brand, Corey Maggette, and a few others. I was like fuck...
KG was going to Michigan

I went to UNC basketball camp, my counselors were Phil Ford and Eric Montross. Haha, but it was when Jordan was retired and he came and played the alumni vs counselors
He actually played on the team with like Serge Zwiker, Forte Oakulaja and others against Montross, Carter, Antawn Jamison, Shammond and Donald Williams.

were you invited to play there or was it like a pay and play thing.

It was a camp, I had to pay and then they make you do drills and exercise, it's like boot camp, but with basketball instead of all the yelling and running through the mud
We did physical exercises in the morning, skills drills in the afternoon, and they split us up in teams and we got to play in tournaments every night. We got the gym that they played in like the 50s meaning no ac in the dead of summer

that's tight about unc camp. i always went to jim crews basketball camp at the university of evansville in indiana. we didnt really have a power house, and i was poor when i was a kid so u of i bball camp was expensive. i settled for crews. jerry sloan was there every year, which he is actually from the town that's next to my hometown, so if you go in a bar at any given time during the summer, he's in there, that drunk bastard. back to the case at hand...coach crews always had calbert cheaney and walter mccarty come to the come. neither played for him but both are residents of evansville...so when you're around an nba player when youre like 12, your freaking out, but thinking back, it was still pretty cool.

I would say Duke..but think about it, really..Shane Battier --> Mehh..Jay Williams --> Almost killed himself..Mike Dunleavy --> What team is he on anyway? Carlos Boozer might be the only one I like from Duke. JJ Redick is going to be really good. I'd say maybe UNC. Jordan and Worthy are enough for me.

You really didn't mention anyone that great from Duke. REddick won't be good. And Dunleavy plays for golden state.

He'll be a good role player, 6th man, with a decent three point average. Good, yes, great and someone people will remember for anything more than college, no. He can't create his own shots off the dribble, that is his downfall.

I don't even see that. He will never learn how to create, and in the NBA, this is more important. I'm not saying he's going to be terrible, but nothing more than a career best year of 12 or so points a game.

I agree he will never learn how to create, but I don't think that will hamper him as badly. He will play like 20+ mpg, I can see him averaging 10-12 points a game, shoot well from 3pt. That is a good player, nothing impressive, but still something worth it to a team. What sucks is that he will get drafted high, and then he will seem like a bust based entirely on that pick. He is a good early 2nd round pick for a team with a need, maybe even late 1st if one of the good teams needs a consistent 3pt source.
