Fire Andy Reid.
We will never see a super bowl with him as our coach.
His playcalling is awful.
you already saw one. and lost to the best football team of our generation.
this season is barely andy reid's fault.

super bowl championship.
and no it is his fault cause he is a cheap prick. the eagles have no fucking depth because he doesn't like to sign anyone that deserves some more $. his playcalling is awful and he shows no fucking emotion and never sticks up for his fucking team.

the first big name guy he ever signed...could have traded simon and westbrook for edge this year...but no we just let simon walk...stubborn andy.

Could Have Signed Plax This Year.
yeah, i'll definately give you that one. i'm not sure how rational eagles fans think, but are you under the impression, as the rest of the world is, that brian westbrook is a overrated/over played/over paid 3rd down back?

I wouldn't know how good of a running back when he gets 11carries a game?
either way i'd take edge over westbrook in a heartbeat. i'd take edge over everyone but LT and SA.
It is andy reid's terrible playcalling.

They really don't have any offensive weapons other than westbrook, who needs a compliment to be successful. Reid is still a decent coach.
On a side note, my fantasy team was down a shitload and seattles D might win it for me.

haha as i type this the seahawks intercept the eagles again. 6 turnovers today...wow.

no we could not have done that trade. nobody was willing to trade for simon which is why we released him. there is no way we should fire andy reid. he has had one bad season and we are missing nine important players who ae gone for the rest of the season. id like to see how good indy would be if they were missing manning, harrison, wayne, and half of their offensive line not to mention their top corner. so please shut up with the fire andy reid talk

i am a giants fan and despise the eagles but to fire andy reid would be a huge mistake. he is a great coach and is a huge reason why the eagles were so good without a prominent receiver for so long.
also, why trade for edge if on avg you run the ball 11 or so times a game?

Andy Reid is a good coach but at this point I think he's taken the Eagles as far as he can. I think a change would benefit both him and the Eagles.

no...I want to see their offense win more than one clutch game. It has usually been their defense even when their team is healthy. His offensive game plans are fucking terrible. He is not a motivator and never seems to get upset when something goes against his team. Hire someone, give him a random position but they need someone in that coaching staff that shows motivation, excitement, and energy.

Frankly, I dont even care what happens with the Eagles. I think they will be contenders as usual, but never get over the hump no matter who the coach is. We will then complain about the coach or the quarterback and find a scapegoat until we run them out of town. The cycle will then start again.

Who was right? Or is currently still right.
Andy Reid is the longest tenured NFL coach to never win a super bowl. Ever. And it isn't like he came shy of opportunities.

You were right and I am all for the firing of Andy Reid, but I just think that we will always find a scapegoat cause thats how we are. I am just so frustrated with the Eagles anymore. I feel as if they will never win a superbowl while I am alive.

This year's scapegoat seems to be the defensive staff...

Well, they've declined the last 2 years and gave up 31 passing TDs lol and his play-calling in the red zone was atrocious.

No... I am saying that we always find a scapegoat and Reid isnt fired. Before it was McNabb and now its the Defensive coaches. Reid never takes full blame for it and I think its time he does. I am probably not making sense so I apologize. I didnt sleep last night.

Um Reid wasn't a scapegoat. He was a has been. While Reid is still here, he has been stripped of positions over time.
I think Reid or Banner need to go though. Pick one and roll with it.

How about they both go? This team has a real chance if they can fix the D and O-line.

People were calling for Bill Cowher's head during the down years in the middle of his tenure. Then in his 2nd to last season he went from chronic playoff failure to Hall of Fame coach. All it takes is one time, which is more likely to happen the more times you go to the playoffs. I think its still silly to just dismiss his other successes just because he hasnt won a Super Bowl yet.
