soundwise, vinyl > any other format. anyone who says otherwise has been fooled by the deceitful marketing ploys of the ipod empire!

I always love to hear when albums go vinyl. pick one up, even if you're not that big into fall out boy...you know, kinda like beanie babies

p.s. I found a green vinyl of Clarity on E-bay once and I regret not getting it. that's quite the collector's item

Yeah, that's why I got the limited edition gold, which is much more appealing.

I have honestly, never been more confused in my entire life than when trying to understand the joke in your signature. honestly.

no because I want to snatch one up to resell it. I own one of the 5,000 take this to your grave director's cut cd's and paired with the vinyl could fetch over $100. Paired with the tickets for their upcoming tour could fetch over $500

I'd hold onto it at least until the black sells out, however I have seen it go for just under a bill on ebay.

Paired with the tickets for their upcoming tour could fetch over $500 they're playing mid-sized veneus that hold 8-10,000. that's too big for fall out boy and hawthorne heights. tickets for fob's spring tour will not go for much on ebay. i will, however, scour richmond to find a few copies of the vinyl to put on ebay.

I searched the recently finished auctions on ebay and two were sold for $51 and $68, but both auctions were for the black version. I believe the green swirl sells for more even though it was limited to the same amount (500 press).

I work there, we got ten copies.
So, nine for sale, ha. I bought the gold one off the fbr site with the panic and hush sound cd's for like 30 bucks. the gold is pretty sweet, but in general i have seen far better vinyl presentations. i know it being gatefold wasnt necessary, but theres not even a paper insert with lyrics or anything, just the vinyl in a die-cut sleeve.

as far as tttyg on vinyl, i realllllllllllly want one, especially the green camo one. theres one on ebay right now for sale only for 150, thats way too high for me. they usually go for 50-75 on auction. if anyone has one and they are looking to sell, def contact me b4 u throw it on ebay. maybe we can work something out. i'm also very very interested in getting brand new - yfw on vinyl, any color will suffice. they pop up very rarely on ebay, theres one on there now for 86, but it comes with their rare dvd too. i got that already when i saw them back in '02. i'd def pay around 50ish for either of these lp's.

I'm a son of a bitch with Your Favorite Weapon on black, clear and blue, all three of which I never intend to sell.

did anywone else hear Sugar, We're Going Down Swinging well before memorial day like I did? jesus, who knew it would blow up like it did, and then become overplayed and generic/flat sounding

i still love the rest of the album, though. XO is the best in my opinion (for now...)

haha, yeah you're right. but i can't tune it out when the song is on every one of my friends' mixes, all over tv, and the radio station where i work.

don't get me wrong, when i first heard it on mtvU i thought it was their best work. but you have to be getting a LITTLE tired of it, right?

kevinhagan

i've been lucky enough to avoid the overexposure. the only place i've felt it is at work, but i've been working in the backroom only lately and i get to play what i want back there. i dont listen to fm radio, i rarely watch mtv and when i do there are never videos on, and i dont get fuse (maes me sad...). i understand where you're coming from though, when the latest mcr first came out i loved it, then i saw and heard it everywhere the hell i went, and i just cant anymore.

anyways...... i just went to stop n shop and bought some frozen white castle cuz theres not one near me and i've been hardcore cravin em since i was in michigan.

The "Take This to Your Grave" green camo vinyl cover has someone laying on a bed in a room with posters all over the walls right? Am I thinking of the right band / album?
