In my opinion, lyrically conor is on another level from everyone else. This kid was writing fucking amazing songs when he was 17 (fevers, letting off the happiness). I read once that for years Conor was writing a song a day and when you look at all the music that he has put out from the ep s to all side projects it is just incredible. Even if you listen to his bad songs (musically I know there are some) the lyrics are still awesome.

Really love older Modest Mouse and Ben Gibbard's voice is right up there with Elliott Smith's but lyrically Conor is the man.
