Benson heading to K.C.
Dec 6 - The Mets are about to trade right-handed starter Kris Benson to the Royals for left-hander Jeremy Affeldt and right-hander Mike MacDougal, reports ESPN's Peter Gammons, who says the deal could get done Tuesday night.

i dont really like that deal for the mets but i hear those 2 pitchers are pretty good heres to hoping they get vasquez or zito

Hopefully this deal is just the start because the Mets are in need of pitching for this upcoming season.

I like MacDougal, but Affeldt is a little iffy. I would assume they'd use MacDougal as a set-up guy, which makes me think that Heilman is going to be traded. You can never have too many arms in the bullpen, though. Who knows.

I laugh at the fact that according to ESPN the Mets are the team to beat in the NL East...again...

Well on paper the Mets probally are the best team in the east, but the Braves always find a way to win so I don't know who to pick.

Yeah, I agree and they were last year too with Pedro and Beltran...but look what happened. If they finish anywhere above 3rd place, I'll be suprised..

The Mets were not the best team on paper last year... The Marlins were much better, and an argument can be made for the Braves and Phillies being above them as well.

Well, as recent years have shown, it really doesn't seem to matter who the best team is on paper. As long as Bobby Cox is managing the Braves, they will win the NL east.

According to an article on some site, Anna said that she would let her husband cheat on her. If he got caught though, she promised she would have sex with everyone on his team from the players to the coachs and management. She said she might even have sex with some of the players on the team they're playing. Hahahaha..awesome.

She's a total babe. I wouldn't mind doing it with her. I heard she said she'd even go all the way down to the guys who clean the fields.

And don't forget about Washington either. You can't forget the deal with Soriano. The NL East and Central are going to be killer this year. I'm hoping that the Pirates will actually have a winning season. At .500 or just two games above is fine with me.
