Food, Inc. (http://www.apple.com/trailers/magnolia/foodinc/) (documentary)
In Food, Inc., filmmaker Robert Kenner lifts the veil on our nation’s food industry, exposing the highly mechanized underbelly that’s been hidden from the American consumer with the consent of our government’s regulatory agencies, USDA and FDA. Our nation’s food supply is now controlled by a handful of corporations that often put profit ahead of consumer health, the livelihood of the American farmer, the safety of workers and our own environment. Food, Inc. reveals surprising — and often shocking truths — about what we eat, how it’s produced, who we have become as a nation and where we are going from here.

Watched the trailer for this earlier, I'll definitely be checking this out.
I heard about this movie just a minute ago on Rotten Tomatoes. Definitely seeing it when it comes to Nashville.

Replace food with any industry and you'll get the same story.

i am so effing excited about this film. if this sort of thing interests you, check out Michael Pollan's books, In Defense of Food and The Omnivores Dilemma. Also, there's a great documentary called King Corn that is completely worth watching. Michael Pollan is a god.

I think that is what I watched with my family. Very interesting and sad at the same time.

Saw this last night, kind of lost interest 3/4 of the way through, but it was really interesting at points. Made me want to just shop at farmer's markets for the rest of my life.
