Baseball (college), lately gotten into watching track and field. Watching a track meet at Hayward Field in Eugene is pretty good to start an addiction.

hockey, baseball/football are better on television. with hockey you need to see the whole rink to truly watch the game.

i don't watch soccer but i imagine it's probably a similar situation. basketball is irrelevant to me, i'd probably rather watch nascar

My thoughts exactly. I really like the chill atmosphere of a baseball game, but a hockey game is so much better live than on TV. Never been to a pro soccer game, but it looks like a great time (that is, if you're in a country that cares about soccer).

MMA for sure, the whole arena is electric...and at a UFC event, you get chills as soon as Baba O'Reilly starts blaring through the arena and the montage starts..amazing!

Just wish the ignorant fans, who do not understand the ground game wouldn't boo everytime it hits the mat...

It is to me as well, a lot of the stuff they do down there looks simple enough...but is extremely techniqual to do.

I got the chance to do some jiu jitsu with Jorge Gurgel and Dustin Hazelett, while doing an article..and was blown away by it...

I'm assuming Hockey isn't in this poll because it's too obvious of an answer.

1-99. Hockey

100-T. American Football
100-T. Soccer
102. Basketball

Football - Love watching NFL live or TV.
Baseball - Enjoy most on the radio as background noise.
Basketball - Living in Lawrence KS have become a college basketball fan!
Hockey - Awful on TV. Kind of fun live.

its a tie between college football vs major league baseball. Nothing is more exciting than being at an ASU game, but I love Pacbell Park too much and I love the Giants. Too bad ASU didnt do too well this year, but the Giants are very solid this year.

I tried to get into a match in Sydney, but ticket scalping is illegal. Once I caught on to footy, I could not stop watchng.

soccer, hands down. but i'm talking about when i've gone to other countries (brazil, spain) and seen games. there honestly is nothing even close.

but here in the US, i'd give the nod to baseball and hockey. baseballs more fun in the sense of hanging out with friends, getting hammered, and just shooting the breeze for a couple hours. hockeys action-packed and provides such a fast pace thats hard to get from any other sport.

basketball and football are kinda lame to watch live, imo. especially football.

If you ever go to Melbourne, I would highly recommend watching a football game at the MCG. Depending on the two teams playing, the atmosphere can be just so amazing. :-)

Depends on what you mean by live - tv or in person?

In person, then it's baseball first. Tv, it's football first.

Hockey by far is the best to see live. I'm a bigger overall NFL fan than NHL fan, and prefer watching the NFL on TV, but when it comes to live sports nothing comes close to hockey...just go to a game and see for yourself.
