Thank Thursday. Is there anything this band can't do?

i hear rumors of them going to vegas... i think perhaps they whould let things die with dignity. i dunno it's a tough call but trying to make cbgb 2.0 isn't going to be easy or possibly work.

yes :)
i was watching a report on the news... i dont even remember the whole issue with unpaid rent or whatever but good for them, especially since they were just going to keep sitting there anyway.

and "move" cbgb? yeah i don't know about that.

its really refreshing to see mayor Bloomberg willing to help them find a new home for such a historic place. I know that none of the crooked politicians in Pennsylvania would even think twice, it would be out of here in a heartbeat. I applaud his efforts.

i respect the places history but im not a fan of the venue. the sound isn't great in my opinion, and the stage is mad small. cool t-shirts though ;).

im all about them moving it, make it bigger, make it nicer, and get rid of all the homeless people trying to give me life lessons when Im just trying to smoke a ciggerette, which they will inevitably ask to bum

This whole fiasco reminds me of when a furniture store is going to go out of business.
They put huge things in the window and everyone is like, "Oh! I guess I should go there and buy some furniture before they close!"

Then the fucking store never closes.

yes! I was upset I didn't get to visit it when I went to NY recently, but I might be visiting 2006 autumn so I might be able to catch it!
