Fall Out Boy is about to overtake My Chemical Romance...interesting. The Decemberists numbers are a bit disappointing. I thought they might have be hovering around 100K by now. Go buy Picaresque, somehow it's catchier than so many of these recent pop-punk releases.
More importantly, its crafted better. Lyrically and musically, it flows better than a lot of the pop-punk that I listen to. The Bagman's Gambit is an incredible song as well.

Yeah but considering how huge Fall Out Boy has got and the amount of new listeners each month, there's a lot of people who are buying it just because they 1. want more FOB, 2. are curious about what seems like a rare album, 3. want to complete their collection, etc. Considering it's been out for over 4 years and the band is on the cover of big magazines like Rolling Stone, Spin, Alternative Press, etc., I'd say under 40,000 albums sold isn't that much.
