I'm hoping this choice is easy for most people ;-)

Very easy for me.
Yes, definitely.

Actually, not so easy. If it was Star Wars Episodes I-III it would have been easy.
I love Episodes IV-VI and Lord of the Rings.
Very, very easy for me. I love the LotR trilogy, but The Start Wars Trilogy have been some of my favorite movies for as long as I can remember. In fact, I think I'm gonna watch Return of the Jedi right now!

Definitely LotR. Very rarely does a literary work on the scale of LotR gets translated well to the screen. Beautiful sets, acting, costumes, and special effects. Easily the best for me.
Lords of the Rings, not afraid to admit that I really don't care for Star Wars at all.

If we are talking about just the films, then Star Wars.
All right, look, there's only one "Return," okay, and it ain't "of the King," it's "of the Jedi."
*pukes*
You're dead to me. Not so much because you prefer LotR, but because you "really don't care" for SW. ='( ='( ='(
I'm so sorry. Does it help that I've ACTUALLY seen all the old Star Wars movies? I didn't just decide not to care, it wasn't for me.
Not really, haha. Oh well. Different strokes ... guess we can't ever get married, though. Your loss! ;-)
Ah frick, I shouldn't have said anything! A marriage based of lies wouldn't have lasted though.
Does your girl dig Star Wars?
Yuh, she can get down with it. Doesn't love it by any means .. but respects my utmost obsession with it, haha.
Haha dammit, can't compete with that. You haven't seen me dance though!
No but seriously, that's nice. And I should re-see the movies because last time I was 14 maybe.

Voting for LOTR is just wrong. Star Wars hands down.
All right, look, there's only one "Return," okay, and it ain't "of the King," it's "of the Jedi."
Nice!

glad to see star wars is winning.

I watched the movies and didn't like them that much.
If that was infact a reference to my post.

Star Wars, LOTR only has one thing going for it and that is the action scenes. Star Wars has just as good action scenes plus everything else going for it.

LotR. Star Wars isn't that great of film, I love them, but when compared to something like LotR...sorry. I know I'm going to get criticized for saying that but it's the truth. Besides, I was able to experience LotR as it came out which makes me feel more connected to it, unlike Star Wars (the original)

LOTR. Read the books in middle school, went to the opening day of every movie and watched multiple times. Very easy choice for me.
