i did like the first two albums...alot actually. don't panic is one of my favorite songs. but seriously, besides 'fix you' ; x and y is bland, and not a progression in any way from the bands previous attempts. for a bad that spent the good part of a year and a half writing and recording i expected a hell of alot more. and personally was not at all impressed with the album at all.

sigur ros on the other hand, who i would go as far to say that they are everything coldplay should be, has created a masterpiece. and deserve alot more credit then they are getting.

And if Fall Out Boy deserves Best New Artist nomination with "From Under Cork Tree," then why the hell hasn't Jimmy Eat World been nominated before? (or have they, and I'm just making a complete ass of myself?) Even Taking Back Sunday's "Tell All Your Friends" was worthy of one. Or Brand New's "Deja." Or how about Blink 182? I'm not usually a dick on here, but dude, get over yourself. I don't think they need your approval to be huge and famous. Also, "If they're going to become 'the next big thing?" Someone's a little behind the times, huh? They are on/near the top of the lists of numerous online retailers, including iTunes, and have been on TRL.
