Showoff Is Back

Showoff (http://www.myspace.com/showoff) is reuniting (sorta); the band still needs a drummer and a bassist. Below is a message from the band:

Showoff will be a band once again!! Thats right folks, I have secured the rights to use the songs on the unreleased Showoff record and what was Sandberg will now be Showoff we will be playing old Showoff material at the shows and we will be recording a new albumn including Waiting for you, Ocean Time, WIth Me and some new material as well. About half and half.. go to the new Showoff on the friends page and add us! We are looking to complete the lineup ASAP and get things moving. Still needed is a Drummer and Bass player. Get back to us soon and we hope this great news finds everyone in good standing.. Thanks a TON.

um.....i like showoff alot. but this makes me feel kinda weird inside. the old drummer is in the band The Fold now, correct? i think he was a pretty important part of the band. and kyle (guitarist) is in allister? i guess what i'm saying is how much will this be like the old showoff?

Haha this is awesome. Showoff's self titled was one of my favorite albums in 98 or 99 (too lazy to figure out when it came out. Are there any other losers (like me) that bought the unreleased album from the old showoff website? Great album, just needed to be mixed and mastered and it would have rocked!
