I have 7. They're nice for the most part but my tuner one shat out on me.

they have a few decent things, but not very diverse. boss is still a better choice.

I used their 'big daddy' or Daddy O (one of those two i think) distortion, and it was alright. Nothing special. You know, you get what you pay for but as far as cheap pedals go, I think they are superior to DOD or any other low end stuff.

the best thing to do is not use pedals.
find an amp with good analog distortion. if you REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLY think you need something like a phaser or a flanger or a chorus pedal, think realllly really well about it and say "will i feel like a douchebag turning this pedal on in the middle of a song?" the only pedal i can reasonably see buying (aside from a tuning pedal) is a nice delay pedal. if you get one of these, though, make sure you can tap it, rather than just setting the timings on it, that's the ONLY way that pedal will ever be useful.
unless you're in like a prog rock band or something cool like that, in which case, stick wtih as many pedals as possible, because that's awesome.

I think good built in overdrive/distortion is good in an amp, and then if you can get delay/echo you're set, assuming you use it properly. Or you can just be like Ted Leo and get an old school Echoplex. Those things are fucking badass.

Speaking of pedals... anyone know of any GREAT reverb pedals? I've been looking at the Holy/Holier Grail, and it sounds pretty great... any suggestions?

Anything that has BOOS stamped on it is always the best choice
