I love Duke, love the program, love the respect of Alaskans, love JJ Redick. However, he's not going to be a star. He isn't built that way, he's going to be revved up version of Steve Kerr. If he gets on a team with a great center that can command post presence and that can pass, then I could see him average 20 pts a game a season or two. But never more than that.

i agree somewhat...it will all depend on who's around him. if put on a championship caliber team, i could see him being a huge spark off the bench.

I think he'll be a role player. The reason why is that he's a tweener. He's an undersized two-guard who lacks the quickness to be a point guard. He will always be a lights out shooter, but they are going to have to set plays up in the nba to get him shots.

i think he will be successful because its not like anyone likes to play defense in the NBA

Except he lacks the true ability to dribble and drive. He showed some ambitions for it, but most of his points were off screens, etc. The defense may not be as good, but each team has a person talented enough to shut him down. He can score and play well on a good team, but if he gets drafted in the top 5 or 10 and goes to a lesser team, he is in trouble.
