FERVENCY CLOTHING® LAUNCHES COMPANY
AND DEBUTS SPRING 2009 LINE
UNIONDALE, NY, April, 2009 – Fervency Clothing® makes a splash on the scene, as it announces the launch of its artistic premiere clothing line, with spring 2009 items currently available online.
Designed “by the passionate, for the passionate,” Fervency Clothing is a Long Island-based apparel company that prides itself on innovation and motivation. Founders Jim & Joe Tamburino and Partner/Designer Joe Restivo artistically fuse the concepts of music, friendship, family, and living life passionately to craft a company whose mission is simply to inspire and be inspired.
"The idea originated from the passion I have for many things in my life, including my love for music and my passion to write,” said Jim Tamburino. “Whether it is lyrics, poems, short stories or even scripts, I always generate tons of writing ideas from the music I am passionate about. While writing and music obviously go together, the passions for each other reflect one another. These arts can be portrayed in fashion. Art, especially music, and fashion go together and this idea is portrayed in our products. It's just the idea of 'living life passionately', no matter what it may be that you're passionate about, and then wearing a modern and fashionable, independent product that represents that belief."
Partner/Designer of Fervency Clothing, Joe Restivo added, “We are asked all the time. The word ‘fervency’ means ‘intense, powerful emotion; passion’. We want to reach out to those who are passionate. Everyone is passionate about something.”
Angels & Kings, a popular lower east side hangout owned by Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz and seen numerous times on MTV’s Real World Brooklyn, hosted Fervency Clothing’s official release party on July 3, 2008, as local Brooklyn indie-music favorite Kevin Devine serenaded a packed house of patrons, including Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath and Midtown’s Rob Hitt.
While working with artists such as Kevin Devine, Patent Pending and Oh, The Story!, the Fervency Clothing family is looking to make additions to their sponsored Artists and Athletes list in the near future, hoping to collaborate with those who inspire them and those they have developed personal friendships with over the years. As for the current calendar, Fervency Clothing is pleased to announce that they have been invited as a vendor to The Bamboozle music festival at The Meadowlands Sports Complex on May 2 and 3. In addition to The Bamboozle, Fervency Clothing will also appear at the 2009 Baltimore Fashion Week, August 11-14.
While the staff is currently working on new designs and product upgrades for the Summer and Fall seasons, Fervency Clothing will soon be announcing it’s list of upcoming events/shows in New York City, Long Island and New Jersey, including a 1-year Anniversary event. All details, including artist lineups, will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
"It has always been an idea to do something together as brothers, such as starting a small business like Fervency Clothing”, added Co-Founder Joe Tamburino . “I always admired the way my brother could write and could see his passion for music. He came up with the idea sitting in my old apartment at the time and it has come a long way. In the beginning, and still to this day, we had hoped to use the designs and our products to represent the idea to 'live life passionately' and to have a strong belief in whatever your passion(s) may be. Those beliefs sum up who we are."
