Ah, How I've Missed This Icon

We'd like to start by saying thank you all for your patience. We know we haven't been around as much as usual, but between side projects and health problems, it's been a wild end of the year. Nevertheless, we wanted to get you all up to date on what's going on with Something Corporate and let you know about a few exciting updates to our merch page and Fan Klub.

1st. we have plans to begin rehearsals in mid January. At this moment we're not certain when the next record will come out, but we will begin working on new songs in the new year in preparation for album number 3.

2nd. THIS ONE IS URGENT. We've put up a couple of new items in the store section of Somethingcorporate.com. There's a great track jacket, a new T-shirt, and a couple of holiday discount packages that come with a pretty awesome holiday card from the band. If you want any of these items delivered by Christmas they will need to be ordered by the 15th of December. Yes, that's this Wednesday so check em out if you get the chance.

3rd. For those of you who are Fan Klub members or looking to join, we know content has been less than up to date lately. That will all be changing in the new year. We have brought a friend in to help us keep you all informed on a regular basis. Also we would like to let all of the existing Fan Klub members know that we are extending their memberships for a year free of charge.

LTTW was really good when i first heard it, but then North came along and was one of those albums that made the last one look bad. I think that was my favorite cd for the year it came out.

that's weird to me. i loved lttw, but north took almost a year to grow on me. to each his own.

i will agree with that, but at the same time, i kind of wish that Andrew would just stay with doing his JM stuff and not go back to SoCo. he is such an amazing musician, and has grown so much, JM is in another league than SoCo. I like something corporate, don't get me wrong, but jack's mannequin put out the best cd of the year, in my opinion. anyway, i'd be curious to see what you guys think...

I think that he will bring that growth to So-Co. If you look at the growth of So-Co from Ready Break to LTTW to North every album has gotten progressively "better" (my opinion) and more mature. I don't expect this 3rd release to let us down.

JM was easily the album of the year.

Hmm, i don't know. I'm a big fan of the JM CD, but in my opinion, SoCo's 'North' was far better. Either way, i'm just happy Andrew is well and will still make amazing music.

How funny! I was just listening to LTTW today, and my copy is so scratched that I ripped it to my computer and it still skips. :( I want a new copy, too.

Seeing the SoCo icon made my December a lot brighter. I listened to Wait and Konstantine about 5 times each this morning.

I want Andrew to have enough time to take care of his health, have enough time to promote his JM stuff, and then be ready to go back to SoCo. I don't want anything forced from them, but I can't imagine them without Andrew.
