I got my Thrice "Alchemy Index" vinyl box set a few days ago. I read on Vinyl Collective that there was a loop/scratch going around the entire last disc (Earth) causing "Moving Mountains" to just loop/skip. Just now, sure enough I put the record on and experience the problem.
Vinyl Collective said they were re-pressing the records and sending them out to those who ordered the box set.
My concern is that since I pre-ordered through Merch Lackey, will I get the re-press as well? Anyone else having the same issue? I emailed them about the issue, so if I hear anything before anyone responds, I'll update.
EDIT: heard back from both Vinyl Collective and Merch Lackey. Both have confirmed that Cobraside (who pressed the records) will be replacing ALL of the defective discs, and sending them out once everything is squared away.
