Cartel (http://www.cartelrocks.com) has been forced to cancel a couple shows due to vocalist Will Pugh's cold, and will not be playing tonight in Jacksonville (they were unable to play last night as well); however, the band will be playing Orlando tomorrow night and Wednesday night in West Palm Beach.
they actually broke up...

Yeah man, I saw Will beating up one of the other members at one of their recent shows, and the guy was screaming, "I Quit! I Quit Cartel!".

Well, this is just fanfuckingtastic news! Thanks for ruining my week. Oh well, I guess if you're sick you're sick. I hope he gets well and can return on the TSL tour real strong. I was really looking forward to them headlining.

yea i wish they announced something a little sooner. I live in Jersey and drove all the way down to Baltimore to see them and "The Working Title" and when I got there, there was a little paper note on the door saying, " Cartel and The Working Title won't be playing tonight". Def. sucked.

The announced it on a myspace bulletin. Luckily, I was browsing myspace the afternoon before that show. I really wanted to see them. Snow forced me to cancel my trip to Richmond to see them last week also. Someday it will work out.

Same shit happened to me. I was pissed. You know how much driving to Baltimore sucks? I was really mad at Sonar for not posting that on the website the day of the show.

i work at a local grocery store and every now and then i'll check random magazines to see if there are any bands that i listen to featured...
last night i saw a "what's new in music?" ad that featured cartel -- no joke -- in Bop! Magazine.
for those of you who don't know what that is its an entertainment magazine for tweens...
a few months ago i saw bryce avery (the rocket summer) in there too...
just thought it was kind of funny...
