They are overreaching themselves there, imo. Stick to one piece of cutlery, putting two together is crazy, I'm not sure if the public is ready for it. That is Aiden for you though, I heard Aiden in Latin translates to 'pushing boundaries through the medium of silverware'.

Yea me too... First time was at the Zumiez couch tour a few years back before they even had a CD out. Just a EP that was shared with another band. That show was sick. I saw them 2 more times after that as well, and it's a fun show everytime BUT.....ID anymore.. That last CD wasnt good, and this CD looks worse. Its the same shit OVER and OVER... I liked the shit back with I SET MY FRIENDS ON FIRE.. but man I cant stand ANY of the new crap

Well ALOT of the songs share the same vocab, and overall topic.. I guess thats pretty much who aiden is though.. And thats how they got that little cult like following.. but yea I cant lie.. Even thought i do NOT like the new song or most of Conviction, I WILL be seeing them at Warped and if that TICKET TO HELL tour swings into chicago I WILL be there too.. And I mean damn for that one tickets are only 6.66

Agreed 110%. It's much better to keep your mouth shut and continue to let 15 year olds buy into watered down versions of bands while the artists actually keeping music serious and good remain less popular than their doppelgangers.

Kelly Clarkson will probably be the only thing remembered about American Idol. I mean, what is even going on right now? I agree that's it's annoying that everyone just assumes you watch it. I mean, everything about is American right? From the title to the 'superunknown to superstar' aethestic. So i should be watching it. But yeah, i guess it's cranked out one good pop tune.

I downloaded this album to give it an honest listen and stop feeling like a hypocrite.

It's not horrendous. It's not good, but it's much better than Aiden has ever put out. I think if this came out around the time AFI put out All Hallows, this would have been huge. I just know too much about Aiden and how much of tools they are to take this seriously. But, no joke, if this was some new bands debut, it may have snuck on the iPod for a listen once every few months. But it's not a new band. It's Aiden. So it won't go on the iPod.

If you listen to MCR, you may want to check it out. Seriously.
