keeping a check book is hard if you fall behind. what aspect do you need help with. also try using excel from the last point you were sure of the balance. and from there you can make different columns to see which checks have been cleared, which ones are outstanding, and you can still find your balance.

My solution? I don't even bother balancing my checkbook! I just look at the stubs I get after making an ATM transaction and keep a running total in my head haha...

i do the same thing. i don't write too many checks, i just have a problem of swiping my debit card wherever i go.

Buy Quicken, it helps so much. It does all of the work for you.

dont we all??? i used to keep very close track of my checkbook until i had a baby... babies change everything! now its all about convenience: plastic!
