Also, I think they're pretty good live while they're playing...
..though lately, I haven't been a huge fan of the weird banter between songs. When I saw their show with Alkaline Trio and Reggie, the things Gerard was saying was so scripted and got annoying halfway through the set.
Worse: Their crowd is almost enough to make me want to stop seeing their shows.

i was really hooked on "three cheers for sweet revenge" for a long time, right when it first came out. i then started hearing "i'm not okay" on repeat for a couple months and lost interest.

No. I meant that they don't draw me into listening to them. I like "Thank you for the Poison" and even "Do you Know What they do to guys like us in prison?". Great songs. It's just that, if my sister didn't recommend them to me, I would've never thought of clicking "play" on my media player. Not very attractive titles in my opinion... and I think I have a good idea what happens to men in prison... unfortunately. :D
