Say Anything's "Died A Jew" vs. Coldplay's "Viva La Vida"??

So I was listening to Died A Jew today... (haven't listened to it in a while) and I noticed there's a guitar line in it that's very similar to the melody of Viva La Vida. Now I'm not trying to pull a Joe Satriani here and call Coldplay out... but has anyone else here noticed that before?
