fuck. relient k, as ive said before, are my #1 guilty pleasure and my nostalgic junk food band. but as much as i think max needs to keep his mouth shut sometimes, and as little as i like his other music, say anything still wrote IARB, which is the best (fake) pop-punk album ever written. im going with them.

this poll is actually a decent one though, i would be satisifed going with any of the 3 bands. gaslight anthem write catchy and earnest pop-rock (though im not sure where the punk revival is, and the songs on the '59 sound are too similar to each other for my liking), and i have a special place in my heart for relient k even given that i acknowledge they are probably the least intelligible band i listen to.

yeah i understand man. relient k are undoubtedly a solid choice, they consistently put out addictive pop albums, and theyve always got the fun and honesty of a 15-year-old in spite of how professional of a band theyve become over the years.

I really like the 59 Sound, and Max Bemis really annoys me, so that's why I put the Gaslight Anthem far above Say Anything. Like you said, though, Relient K is more enjoyable than either and has been putting good music out for quite a while.
