I went to see Story of the Year (http://www.storyoftheyear.net) last night with Stretch Armstrong (http://www.myspace.com/stretcharmstrong) and Spoken (http://www.myspace.com/spoken), and I must say it was a great show. Spoken was received very well by the crowd, some people had come just to see Stretch, but Story of the Year owned the night. This was my first time seeing them away from both of our hometowns of Saint Louis, and the crowd was not any different, if not better than the Saint Louis crowd. They still have one of the best live performances I've ever seen, and if you're in the Ohio area you still have three days to check this tour out, And if you're lucky, the band that Adam(Bass)manages, may make an apperance, and they're probably going to be huge. They're called The Too Silent Ghost (http://www.myspace.com/2sg). So go!

Dec 16th- Bogarts, Cincinatti
Dec 17th- Agora Theatre, Cleveland
Dec 18th- Headliners, Toledo

Also, if you havent picked up In The Wake Of Determination, go do so now, it's easily in my top five for the year.

this new SOTY album is so amazingly underrated...i was blown away, completely unexpected. anyone that hasn't given this record a chance, i know it's SOTY but you may be surprised. Excellent harder rock record.

in the wake of determination really broke the genre niche story of the year unfortunately fell into. the record has a very old school type of sound that really sets them apart

yeah i think this record is damn fine. its not selling too well, but whats to be expected by a maverick band. nonetheless, i think this band is going in the right direction

The new story of the year album is defiently top 3 this year. It is defienetly the SLEEPER album of the year! I saw them live 2 years ago at warped, and I didn't like the band that much, but as soon as I saw them LIVE I fell in love with this band! They are the BEST live bnad! They bring the rock and energy EVERY NIGHT! I hope they do Warped this year! Is this my fate, he asked them, is their best song! same with STEREO!
