I picked up Nick Hornby's 'About A Boy' today, and it's pretty good. 'High Fidelity' was good too.

I've only seen About A Boy's movie. I REALLY like it. Saw it on FX I think.
I thought the concert scene was especially touching.

I've never read the book, but I LOVE the movie. I'm in a mood for watching it right now, feels like a late November/December movie to me.

I did end up seeing American Dreamz and it was pretty average. Still agree on the other two movies but I'm not sure why I didn't capitalize anything other than movie titles in complete caps.

Just watched this again last night. So good. "American Dreamz" was such a wasted, dated pile. But the Weitzs probably have one of the most interesting mix of movies.
