I'm writing a paper on Generation Y and I need to list three characteristics of the generation and then three examples?
Honestly, I'm being a little lazy, but if you could come up with a characteristic and maybe an example of how you or a friend (if you're in/know someone who's in this generation) show that characteristic.

Funny thing is, laziness is a characteristic of Gen Y....

But seriously:

1. Internet literacy. Generation Y grew up with the internet, and thier social structure is based, in a large part, off of social networking sites, forums, chat rooms, instant messaging, etc..
2. More multicultural thinking. None of us can really remember a time of racial strife and turmoil in America, short of history books. Apart from small cases, racism is much less widespread, and there is an increased air of tolerance.
3. Extremely strong thumbs (From texting so damn much)

Hah, I've googled a bunch of different things, I just couldn't think of examples of the characteristics.
But I probably can do something with those first two, so thanks.

Nah, English.
We read The Great Gatsby and now we're doing research about different generations.
