I want to take this time to introduce you to the launch of our beta-artist database (http://www.absolutepunk.net/artists/). Everything is still, obviously, in beta mode (so please let me know about any bugs you find). The help link is still not finished, so you will sort of have to fly blind at the moment .. but there is still a whole lot to discover. The main new feature is that we can now immediately archive all our past featured bands, all of the absolutely unsigned artists, and you as the user can search/sort the database based on a variety of terms. For example with one click you can search our database by: city, state, country, featured or not, record label, unsigned, genre, and similar artists. Furthermore, each artist profile puts links to all the particular band's content inside AP.net right at your fingertips (multimedia, news, interviews, and album reviews). There's still more to be done ... but this is the first big step.
