this pats/tampa bay game will show a lot...is tampa for real? can the pats beat a good team? how hurt is tommy? and (if there's snow in mass) i just really want to see chris simms in a blizzard.

it doesn't look that cold there now that the games on...oh well, i still don't like simms and hope he catches a cold.

I think Visa's calling plays...Brady to Ashworth for 6

Two pretty big games today. The Chiefs/Giants game is the biggest. I'm rooting for the Giants in that one.

21-0...Pats are taking control

This game is terrible. I thought Gruden was supposed to be an offensive guru, this playcalling is dumb. They can't run the ball, they can't pass protect, they can't hold onto interceptions, they can't get sacks, this one's over.

Chiefs/Giants should be a nice shootout, hopefully.

Tampa/NE sucks.

Chiefs/Giants should be real entertaining.

Denver should blow out Buffalo.

No it's not cold. The reason the storm was such a big deal was acutally because it WASN'T cold when it hit. The temps were between 30 and 35 degrees during the day, so most areas got freezing rain and/or sleet for hours at a time, and then when it got dark and cooled off, snow fell on top of the ice.

It was about 36 in Buffalo yesterday, and I believe I read somewhere it was supposed to be about 38 in Foxboro yesterday.

Then again, 38 degrees may be cold for you. I happen to think high 30's to about 50 degrees is PERFECT football weather. As long as you're playing.

They called that 4th &1? Looked like 2-3 yards to me.

He does, but Galloway dropped the ball on that 4th and more than 1 yard play.

chris simms sucks.
no he doesn't, he's just a starter for the first time.

New England's defense makes veteran QB's look like Ryan Leaf at times, I expected nothing big from JP Losman last week or Chris Simms this week.

Ok, this guy can't handle the 3-4 defense. Hopefully it's just Tampa's problems, because I'll be pissed as hell if NE can dominate on defense like this for the rest of the season.

i haven't been watching much of the game but i do know that NE's base package might be a 3-4 defense, but they throw so many different looks and blitzes at you that young QB's get real flustered.

Underthrowing balls has nothing to do with the defense.

I think this game goes more to show how overrated Tampa was than how 'back' NE is. The Pats are better but the defense still isn't as good as it looks today. NE can now be considered a dangerous team, but all that really happened is they played solid ball and exposed an overrated team as a fraud.

This better be a good game, because that one just sucked, and Buffalo/Denver won't be any good.

The Giants can manage to make any matchup either the most entertaining game in the world or a visual enema

Since I've decided to stay in tonight, one thing I am happy about is though the Sunday night game is a big mismatch, Tirico and Sharpe are calling it. The one game they've called this year they did a great job, head and shoulders over any other team.

looks like Mularkey decided he wanted to try and save his job by playing Holcomb. It's working out so far.

can you imagine shannon sharpe doing games? that would be brutal.

and about the game...i don't even know if good announcers could make this game entertaining. Not entirely surprised Denver is struggling but unless I see something from the Bills offense sometime soon, the Broncos should be able to get enough going to take this game.

man, that giants game kept me on the edge of my seat. regardless if eli is the scariest quarterback everytime he lets go of the ball, it was still a great game. well dressed amani toomer has really picked up his game this year, mostly because of the double teams on plaxico. oh and i guess it doesnt hurt that tiki is ridiculous, hahah.
