Ashlee Simpson collapsed following (http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id= 1001700077) a performance in Tokyo yesterday (Dec. 15) and has been hospitalized. The 21-year-old singer had just performed her single, "Boyfriend" for MTV Japan, when she told the audience she felt sick. She then collapsed in an elevator and was rushed by ambulance to a hospital.

I know we give her a lot of shit, but I hope she's ok.

All kidding aside, that "Boyfriend" song is one of the most annoying pieces of shit I've EVER heard on the radio. There was a point where I didn't mind looking at the girl, but THAT VOICE.

Both play substanceless pop marketed towards people that don't know any better.

I can assume that most of you enjoy other good bands, so I forgive you, but I'm willing to bet that 500,000 of FOB's last cd were sold to the "NOW That's What I Call Music" crowd that lists Fall Out Boy right next to 50 Cent on their Myspace.

So I suppose Green Day and Usher aren't that different either? My advice is to listen to the music, and not other people's opinions. And if you're doing both of those things and still call Fall Out Boy and Ashlee Simpson similar, I feel sorry for you.

I love how you claim Fall Out Boy plays "substanceless pop." So they're not the best live band out there, at least they've been touring for years and doing something they love doing. Ashlee Simpson is making a quick buck off of her name and marketing her image and sound with that same "NOW" crowd.

i know i'm harsh and cruel, but when i heard this news, i laughed...but then again, she is a person and her health is important to her well-being. she'll feel better sooner or later. it's just that her voice just sucks. oh well, moving on...
