they're a great band, but it pisses me off to see them go on tour with shit bands like mudvane, i would've went to see them but i don't want any of those crappy bands getting any money from me, they should go on tour with the misfits, they always cover them anyway.

No offense, but they suck IMO! Laars or whatever the fuck the drummer's name is is the biggest ****** I've ever seen. Maybe if he died I wouldn't hate them so much..

Fuck Metallica, they suck, it's because of them that Napster went down. Because they're greedy sold out bastards and don't even tell me they're not. You get two maybe three good songs per album from them, and at 17 dollars a pop it's not even reasonable. I hope their bus crashes again and they bleed to death on the highway and vulptures come and defile they're corpses...

ok yea, everyone pretend you're too punk for metallica. lars is a fucking talented drummer, and metallica isn't the only reason napster went down, there was a large group of bands who backed them they just did the talking. did you ever stop and think maybe napster went down because it was a violation of copyright laws?

I admit that I like Metallica...I think they're talented and make some pretty good music. they're not one of my favorite bands, but I still think that they're good.

Did I say anything about being too punk for Metallica? NO! I siad Metallica sucks because they're fucking greedy and they sunk Napster. I got news for you too, maybe it was infringement on copyright laws, but there were also bands getting their stuff heard on their. But because Metallica felt they needed more money, they had to attack. I know there were other artists. We're not talking about them though. We're talking about Metallica. I didn't even say I didnt think they were talented. I said they were money-grubbing assholes...

metallica already had enough money so their great grandchildren wouldn't need to work, i doubt they were concerned with getting more. and bands that want to get their music played still can on sites like iuma. the problem with napster wasn't that they were allowing downloads of songs but that they 1) did not requst permission from bands to do so and 2) they did not pay royalties to bands who's songs they, essentially stole from them.

Yea Napster didn't pay royalties, stole music blah blah blah. Why don't they go after companies that make cd burners. That seems kind of like a problem to me. The ability to get a band's entire album for free... it seems if they wanted to attack something causing a problem that would have been a better place to attack... You know why they didn't attack that though? Because the record companies are often owned by companies like sony. And they make the burners. If htey had wanted to stop the copyright infringement they'd have attacked burners. Becuase then Napster dies off because nobody can get the music off their computer...

i do agree with you, but burners can be used to copy data, so it's sole purpose isn't infringing on copyright laws.

And what good did it do anyway. We still have Kazaa and the like, so if they DID go after burners, we'd still be stuck, but hey! I'm not complaining.

On the kazaa subject, since I already brought it up, do they really have a bunch of hidden programs and shit packaged in the DL of the program itself. That might be why my PC is a piece of shit. Anyone hear this besides me?

metallica fucking sucks. a bunch of my friends like them and give me shit all the time for hating them. to me metallica is the anti-punk rock. they are 100% in it for the money. i will hate metallica with a passion till the day i die. i even quit a band becuase my bandmates wanted to cover metallica songs. who wants to listen to and 8 minute long guitar solo anyways

I agree..and I still love Metallica(except for their new shit...ick ick ick) But I saw them at the end of last summer, and even though they are getting older, they still kicked ass live. but yeah the Misfits would be an awesome opener.
