im more interested in this topic about using the word gay...all this "calling you out" bullcrap is a waste of time.
i personally use the word gay alot..more than i would like, i am not homophobic, but alot of people share zach's believe, and i have to admit i dont blame them.
As brandnew said..the word has morphed into one with many meanings that is used alot, often with no intent of disrespect to any individual or group.
on the same side of things i believe that people shouldnt judge me by the words i use..but by the person i am...if someone assumes im a homophobe because they hear me say the word gay, then theyre being slightly narrow minded and missing out.
Also, in this strival (home made word) for equality...the oversensitivity of such words indicates society will never fully accept homosexuals as equals...eyebrows arent raised when the word straight is used...they shouldnt be when the word gay is used.
most people who use the word "gay" don't mean it malicously. I can recognize that, but i still feel it spreads ignorance.

First off, you weren't right, you constantly contradicted yourself about the political state of Germany before WWI, and after WWI and WWII. That is what we were arguing about. Remember? And YOU were the one who wouldn't admit he was wrong.
Secondly, it may astound you, that I do have a life. I have been out of town for the past couple of days, and unlike you, MY LIFE DOESN'T REVOLVE AROUND A FUCKING MESSAGE BOARD.
If you get your jollies off by trying to bring people down by posting someone elses work when you make a hideous blunder and can't defend yourself, you need some serious help.

I never contradicted myself. Germany was a sudo-democracy prior to WWI, a democracy installed by the US after WWI, then turned dictatorship by Hitler, and then restored a democracy after WWII as it stands today. I know my facts

yet you first claimed that Germany's democracy was created by the US, the denounced that claim, then stated it again. Could this be because YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.
