ehhh I wasnt the biggest fan of Plans. It had some really outstanding tracks (what sarah said, marching bands of manhattan, i will follow you into the dark) but I thought there was some weak tracks by Death Cab standards. The Photo Album and Transatlantacism own Plans in my opinion.

Transatlanticism is my favorite Death Cab album, but I love Plans from beginning to end. The only song I haven't been in love with since it came out in August is "Someday You Will Be Loved." I can't stand the chorus. But the other tracks are all amazing in my mind and definitely make up for it.

Good for them. But jesus christ, I am so fucking sick of "Soul Meets Body." And my guess is this'll be another "Soul Meets Body"/"Crooked Teeth" performance. ...You know, I really wish their pre-Trans. albums would get more attention. Because as much as I love Trans. and like Plans, those don't hold a candle to The Photo Album or We Have the Facts and We're Voting Yes.


Heh, remember when SNL was funny? Like, the first five years of it and then again in the late 80s/early 90s (i mean Hartman, Lovitz, Carvy, Murphy, Nealon, etc. Wasn't a big fan of Ferrell and Molly Shannon). I wish it would get back to that, because it's almost painful for me to watch now. I know the cast they have now is nowhere near as great as the people they had back when it was really good, but if the writing was better...
