Anybody miss them like I do? Sirens Sister is eh, and I'm sure that Michael Vermillion is having a good time playing country music and what not, but it would be nice to see a reunion...

I have one of their albums. Almost went to their last show but things came up at the last minute that prevented me from doing so, so I missed out.

First album was crap, but Sisters of the Red Death was insane.

Would be nice to see them get back together

I was about to start a thread about this. I bought their first album after I bought Sisters of the Red Death and it definitely pales in comparison.
Sisters of the Red Death was just so good. It was haunting yet melodic, there was bite to the songs even though they could be soothing. It was just a solid album lyrically, thematically, etc. Some of the lyrics were a little extreme because they dealt with stories of rape, but it was so unique!
I always recommend this album when I think I've run into someone with similar tastes. I wish any of the band members would come up with something remotely branching from the quality of their last album.

I wish I could find more songs on youtube...but mostly crappy quality live songs.

I'm going to give Sisters of the Red Death a listen! I've only ever heard one song from these guys before.

too bad, Canadian version of iTunes does not have Sister of the Red Death. Guess I'll have to look out for it in stores.

Cool, checking out that grooveshark site now...looks pretty awesome. Thanks! ...and I am really loving this album. Hope I can track it down.
Half of their band (including vocalist) are in a new band called Siren Sister. You can check out their myspace or hear some songs on YouTube. Their 2009 album is a big improvement from their first one. Some melodic elements to it in the same vein as Sisters of the Red Death
