"It's like someone from 20 years in the future built a time machine made out of Sigur Ros' spaceship that is powered by 80's dance moves and came to our world to deliver this music..."
- Brian Grissle (Describing the AURIGA EP)
Sorry that we started this thread out with a name-dropping quote, but we felt it was best to try and act super important right from jump street. We don't know exactly what genre our music is, but some listeners have likened the experience to a feeling a sense euphoric elation and some saw vivid mental images of themselves running through glowing, colorful flower fields in outer space.
We like to have soaring vocals over epic/tribal/anthemic drums while highly echo-delay guiars and synth pads throw you out of earth's orbit. As silly as all of this has sounded up until this point, we do take our music very seriously and love what we do. The 4 song 'AURIGA EP' comes out at the end of May on Itunes and other avenues, so be on the look out for it. Please listen to the songs on our myspace at http://www.myspace.com/ofcolour (http://www.myspace.com/ofcolour) and let us know what you think. Thanks for reading!
- Of Colour (in order below; bee armitage, shane o'daniel, austin newell, mike rozar, aj reid, zack sterman)
