hey.... im not sure if anybody else did this or not, but i was wondering if any of you guys know what TAKING BACK SUNDAY means.. as a name to their band.
just make up wahtever, or if u actually know then say so =)
and the reasons why

They tell people it's a Smiths' reference in interviews, but I think they're joking. I don't know how they came up with it.

Thats what i thought, or that it was a lyric from a song.
TBS are often wayyy to into obscure pop-culture references, so it wouldnt surprise me to have that be the origins of their name.

I believe it was Ed and John....anyways, they were at the mall and shop lifted, they got caught and then realized how wrong it is and blah blah, it was on a Sunday. So Taking Back Sunday became the name of their band that they were just starting.
