Awesome, awesome show. The crowd kinda sucked, but the band sounded great. There was no energy until the last half of the set, and even then, there still wasn't that much. Throwdown was fucking awesome, though! All of the guys came out after the show and hung out in the student center, it was really cool. Asked Jesse about the new album, he said there's gonna be a lot more energy and that it's definitely coming from a much better place emotionally than EIIKM.

sounds like a great show. although Even if it kills me was depressing at times i think the overall message was optimistic. regardless, an up beat, exciting album sounds fantastic

They played my school tonight with more or less the same set list... Amazing as well! Can't wait to hear new stuff from these guys!

drtomoe123, i was there too, and i'm glad you agree that the crowd had no energy. what was up with that? probably the only MCS show i've ever been to where the people weren't going crazy with energy. it was still fun though!

I saw the topic and thought, HOLY CRAP, MCS IS AT TECH AGAIN!?! but then I realized it was my old topic, haha.

Anyways, it definitely was a great show. Tech got a string of great shows during that time...Brand New, MCS, STD. There was an opener for MCS, I have pictures of them on my facebook, but I can't remember their name at all...I think they gave us a shirt, so that's somewhere, haha.

HAHA sorry for getting your hopes up... Yeah their were a ton of really good shows there within like a 2 year span. Hit The Lights played in 2010 as well, the same event that Saves The Day headlined before. Thanks for finding out who opened, I couldn't remember at all.
