Also according to YM, the Good Charlotte twins are happy rockin hunks. I used to pick it up and pretend to read it to get a laugh out of my friends.

Correct me if I'm wrong but "indie" is short for independent. Now it is true that a genre known as "indie rock" has developed, which is what you are referring to, BUT Vagrant is an indie label in the original sense of the word. Fat Wreck and Epitaph are indie labels as well. They may not put out indie rock, but they are independent labels.

to top that off, once on a trip to visit our significant others, this girl and I pretty much read through and discussed an entire Cosmo. talk about an experience, I never knew men were so easy to read

but yeah, Vagrant is an indie label, what else would they be?

Vagrant is run independly but they are distributed by one of the Majors.

I used to read Cosmo and Teen People all the time at my old job. Nothing else to do.
