I don't know if I'm even becoming staff anymore. Tate's been really busy updating the site and what-not, but hopefully he still wants me. I'm pretty anxious to start writing. I've been accepted to college now so I've got all the time in the world to focus on reviews and not that worthless, awful school. Thanks for remembering though dude(tte).

Well, when you stop writing music to sell records, drop the heart and soul of your band, and decide to finally decide to focus on the music like a real band should, even though your hypocrisy sold you thousands of records, you are probably destined to fail.

For all the trash talk this band has gotten lately, as well as most everyone making up their mind that this album will suck only because one person isn't in the band anymore, I really hope this album just shocks everyone and finds their way back into everyone's CD players. Not because I'm a "huge YC fan", because I'm absolutely not. Just to get back at everyone that decided they were a terrible band because one band member got kicked out.

I'm pretty much on the same boat you are. I really liked Yellowcard. I got into them around One Fpr the Kids and was still a fan going into and after Ocean Avenue. I liked Ocean Avenue as well. I'm not the biggest fan of the band now, but I still like them. "Lights and Sounds" is a decent enough song and I like it. They can either show all their fans that they're still a good band even though Ben left the band or that they're only about money now and that they shit this album out as fast as they could to sell more records and fuck over former Yellowcard fans. I really hope this album will be good...I just have the weirdest feeling I'm going to be let down though.

On a slightly different subject, is it just me or is the Underdog EP better than One For the Kids and Ocean Avenue?
