I know there are some threads for this but I didn't want to read any spoilers. I have heard a lot of good things about the 90's show "Twin Peaks". I saw the complete series for $64.99 the other day and almost bought it. Has anyone watched this? Is it worth it?

Probably my favorite TV series of all time. If you're a fan of Lynch then definitely buy it.

I just watched "Mullholland Drive" and was very confused, but it was awesome.

Hahaha, Mulholland Dr. is what got me into Lynch. It actually makes perfect sense if you pay close attention on repeated viewings. The only thing I never completely understood was the creepy homeless guy, but I have my theories about that.

One of my favorite shows of all time. First season is fantastic, it gets a little bumpy during second season, but the last few episodes make up for it.

Yeah, definitely worth the money. But bought the Gold Box edition last summer and burned through it quickly. Agreed that the second season does start to fade at moments, but all in all, a fucking fantastic series.

I just got the complete series, went in totally cold except for the fact that it's David Lynch. As a result I'm analyzing every little weird thing way too much (and that takes up a lot of time because there are SO MANY LITTLE WEIRD FUCKING THINGS). I'm only three episodes in and I'm already the most wrapped up I've been with a TV show since Lost season one. I just finished the episode with the dream at the end, the little man and the backwards talking etc, and I am sufficiently mindfucked. Can't wait to see where this goes. Everyone really ought to watch this, it's amazing.

Was about to shower you with love but they don't let Canadians watch it. :-(

Guess I'll have to go with torrents.

Just finished the first season, so good. Even though I heard that S2 dips in quality, I'm still really excited to watch it.

That's the one with the dwarf, right?

Assuming it is, well, along with the season one finale, that's my favorite episode, until now.

I urge you to watch the last two episodes.

Knowing that you've never watched the final scene pains me.

fucking love this show. finished it a little while ago and also went in cold not knowing anything much about the show itself. i had seen many david lynch movies though so i expected craziness.

our generation especially should watch this show, because it still holds up and always will, i think, but also the mystery of the killer is a mystery still to almost everyone our age, its not a "bruce willis was dead the whole time" type of thing that everyone knows

has anyone seen "fire walk with me," the movie? its fucking great, although there are definitely some issues with it

I finished it in around the middle of June. The finale was probably the craziest thing I've ever seen on a TV show. It was amazing and it really left me wishing Twin Peaks hadn't been canceled so early. I loved the direction the show was heading to on the last episodes. In my opinion, the Windom Earle plot was as great as the Laura Palmer's murder one.

I haven't watched many TV series in their entirety, but still, it's worth saying Twin Peaks is easily in my top 5 favorites. The whole vibe of it, the nostalgic value it already has on me, the beautiful and mesmerizing theme song... I could go on and on praising this brilliant and unique show, but I'll just shut up...

several people had been talking up Twin Peaks in general conversation lately, and i started watching about a week ago... i just watched the season one finale. i'm hooked.

i really want to know more about the symbolism and everything, but i'm guessing (or maybe more-so hoping) they'll explain a bit more in season two.

Just started this show yesterday. Two episodes in and I am hooked. Fuck, knowing my relationship with David Lynch projects, I'm going to end up pissed off and confused, but hopefully I can stay with this.

She's so beautiful. Instantly fell in love with her and her character, even though I have this sinking feeling that she's going to play a big part in everything in a bad way.

As much as I loved season one, it didn't quite live up to the "WTF" factor I had heard so much about. Please tell me season two does. And please quote this post so I don't risk reading a spoiler.

honestly the best tv series of all time. i watched this after seeing lynch's other work and seeing it really shows that it's such a shame Mulholland Drive wasn't a tv series as originally intended.
