View Full Version : Craziest Concert?

What was the craziest or funnest(is that a word?) concert you have ever been too?
i went to this one yellowcard show
it was crazy because it was overcrowded, in a really small place.
there wasn't any air.. it was way too hot. and they ran out of water. i was being crushed up against the stage by a 300 pound guy practically molesting me from behind. it felt like my ribs were going to break. but i still sang along to every song and near the end i almost passed out on the guy i liked's shoulder..
haha. crazy but fun at the same time.
the funnest was at TBS. this one guy pushed our way through the crowd from the very back to the front, and all the Used girly fans and their boyfriends were yelling at us ahaha.

I went to the TBS/Midtown show and two people passed out. I don't think that qualifies as crazy though.

i went to see mustard plug last year at a college and they had these huge speakers just sitting on little coffee tables. i was on the side of the stage while everyone was going nuts and the leg of the table broke, the speaker would have crushed me, but me and some other people caught it.

That is by far the lamest thing you can do at shows. I would've stomped your teeth in if you had done that and I were there.

my friend told me about a show he went to in brooklyn (since he lives there) of a band called bad luck 13. he said in the pit some big black guy picked up some white kid and slammed him right there, and this girl tripped in front of the singer and the singer started kicking her. when she got up she was all bloody and shit. so the club pulled the plug and everyone got pissed so these big ass bouncers came and kicked everyone out
Bad Luck 13 used to lock the club doors and the singer would walk around the club with a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire and on fire. Basically, their shows used to be insane and people just beat the shit out of each other. They have since toned down because they got banned from so many places.

Honestly last year's Warped Tour. During the SOTY set we we're on the edge of a mosh circle with these muslce-bound jock types just beating the shit out of each other. These morons actually carved words into their skin with their fingernails. So me and my friends kept getting inadvertantly knocked into the pit and we never made it back out without getting at least one or two decent blows. But in all honesty it was sort of fun, because our adrenaline was going so fast it didn't hurt.

Speaking of people passing out, I saw 4 girls pass out at The Starting Line 2 years ago at warped. It was insanely hot, and I've been in very crowded concerts, but this was the worst.
Imagine 10 people all surrouding you, pushing into you as hard as they can. Then people all around them are jumping over them and on top of you. I only stayed up front for like 3 songs, and I was soaked it sweat. Fun times though.
That's not really crazy, but all I could think about.

i think my story wins, just go ahead and shut down the forum. last month from autumn to ashes came to town and the crowd was wild as all get up. some kid got on stage and security tried to take him away but he was resisting so security just ripped him hard off the stage and threw him into a wall which ended up breaking. well the lead singer of from autumn to ashes then whipped the security guy with his mic and security came after him and all the band members held each other apart. FATA then took the oppertunity to talk to everyone about what a loving band they were and that people shouldnt be violent. i think the next song was when a crowdsurfer got on stage and as he was getting up to leave the lead singer whipped him in the back REALLY HARD. after the show some local guys were trying to start shit with them lol
Bledfest 2007 was absolutely insane.
1400 screaming sweaty fat dudes.
It was all inside of a skating rink, so it was hot annoying.
But the show, overall, was amazing.
It was the first time I had ever stage dived.

i had a great time at that show. it made me upset that a lot of the kids that were waiting on line didnt know who i am the avalanche was though.

Na thats not that bad.
At bledfest, the lead singer of animosity jumped off the PA and did a backflip into the crowd, then a security guard kicked him in the face.
They got into a huge fight and the band kept playing.
The singer dedicated the next song to the security guard and it was called shut it down.
It was pretty funny.

xdrumxfreakx may be a winner. i wish i could think of more stories. hopesfall awhile back on the take action tour was crazy and these girls in the front row set their purses on the stage and the singer picked them up and booted the purses into the crowd and said something like "this is a fucking rock show get your tampons out of here". also set your goals at this tiny church in town was wild pretty much everyone just got on stage and sang with them except for the dumb ass hardcore dancers
At Bledfest (im gonna keep talking about it because it was amazing) they had barricades set up but as soon as Black dahlia murder started playing, everyone pushed them up towards the stage and crushed like 4 security guards. The security guards pushed the barricades back but then people just walked past them.
It was funny seeing random fences being dragging in the middle of the pit.
I DECAY is a kick ass local band that played that show, and there pit was HUGEEEE.

I would have kicked the guys ass because thats a dick move.
Although they shouldn't have been in the front row if they were just gonna have there purses there.
Theres a lot of hardcore shows in the area and a lot of abercrombie ho's go to them because there boyfriends are in a shitty metal band or something.
Anyways, there was a group of girls moshing (it was fucking stupid moshing though..) and they accidentally hit this other girl, and then there was a huge chick fight.
that was a fun show too.

thanks for reminding me of another story. i think it was the anberlin tour that just took place but some guy apparently touched some girl in a sexual manner and she just lost her lid and was yelling and screaming at the guy. so all these other people around them started yelling for security, who were nowhere to be found, and finally they came out and took the guy away and we all sang "na-na-na-na-hey hey hey goodbye" hahaha.
then later in that show a fight broke out between two guys and one of the guys had part of a broken drum stick from bayside and he tried to use it as a shank but some people made him back off and took it away from him hahahahaha

yeah...it was back when the used and tbs were respectable.
I saw the Chariot open for Underoath a few years ago. I have never and probably will never again see anything like that ever again. Before they even came on stage a huge circle pit opened which was like 1/4 the size of the entire floor with people dancing to Michael Jackson. The Chariot came on stage, and I shit you not, the entire floor turned into a circle pit. I feared for my life. I was right up against the barrier dividing the club into a drinking/non-drinking sections. The barrier also protected the soundboard. The circle pit got so intense this barrier was getting pushed back and the soundboard was moving with it. Security was literally pushing us into the pit to protect the equipment.

Thats almost how the pit for I DECAY was except the soundboard was way at the back of the place because they were smart.
it was protected by a makeshift fortress of fold out tables.

Most insane in terms of crowd being insane: a free outdoor Reel Big Fish show. There was way, way, way too many people there so it was just a constant wave of pushing madness.
Most fun...Warped 03 due to the insanely awesome lineup and getting to meet so many musicians i admire, or the recent Jonezetta/Meg & Dia/Bayside/Anberlin tour...every band killed it, was having fun and there was just a overall positive vibe throughout the crowd and everything.
Or, Marathon playing in this 'community center' that was the size of my closet, maybe about 15 of us watching, pressed against the wall trying not to get hit in the face with guitars.

Definitely warped last year, but only the Motion City Soundtrack show. It was the last show of the night and every single person went to that stage. I knew it would be crazy before we even started because we had a full blow bottle war. Seriously, people got really hurt. Everyone was throwing bottles as hard as they could at anyone, it was intense. The show itself got completely out of hand. I could hardly pay attention to the show because I had to look back for crowd surfers at all times, they were an endless flow. In fact, I noticed that while I was holding someone up, it was Alex, the lead singer from All Time Low! Either way, a lot of people were hospitalized from that show alone, yikes it was crazy.

Either way, a lot of people were hospitalized from that show alone, yikes it was crazy.
haha, that sounds like the less than jake show at last years warped tour in chicago. i knew it was gonna be crazy, but damn. it was super packed before they got on stage, but when they took stage, everyone just pushed forward instantly. The whole crowd was one massive moshpit, and the crowd surfing was the same as yours. that was the only way anyone could get out of the spot they were in. after i ended up cowd surfing somehow, they started a circle pit. they said it was the biggest best one they saw, it was massive. so much fun (when i could breath)
