This passed (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/05/08/senate-passed-bill-would_n_199402.html) in the Senate 95-1.

No similar measure is in the House version of the bill, so conference negotiators will determine whether it makes the final package headed to Obama's desk. Looks like it's not there yet, but with such an easy 'yes' in the Senate I doubt it will be much of a problem. Great news.
Sen. Bernie Sanders, a self-described socialist, is pushing the issue, as is Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas), a libertarian.
Also really cool to see how people on opposite sides of the spectrum are coming together to support such an important bill.
