Worst Albums of 2005

4. Aiden – Nightmare Anatomy. Yeah.
3. Day at the Fair – The Rocking Chair Years. I couldn’t even get through one song (not literally, but close).
2. Avenged Sevenfold - City of Evil. I’d rather have my eyeballs smeared with shit and my asshole ripped apart with Tabasco drenched knives than listen to this band.
1. Giles – Giles. The epitome of audio diarrhea.

1. Man Alive
Most Overrated Albums of 2005
Keep in mind that this doesn’t mean that I don’t like the albums, I just don’t think they’re as good as everyone says.
7. All Time Low - The Party Scene. Good stuff, don't understand the jizz-worthiness of it though.
6. Nightmare of You – Nightmare of You. I know this is the equivalent of AP.net-suicide, but the album just never clicked with me. It’s good, just never got into it quite like others did.
5. Circa Survive – Juturna. Aside from “Act Appalled” and “The Great Golden Baby,” I was pretty indifferent towards this album. Yeah, Anthony Green’s got a great voice, but I felt like something was missing in the songwriting.
4. The Mars Volta – Frances the Mute. Way too much wankery for my liking; still a huge fan of Deloused in the Comatorium though.
3. The Higher – Histrionics. Yeah, they’re good pop punk and “Histrionics” is an awesome song, but they’re not that good.
2.. Darkest Hour – Undoing Ruin. I keep seeing all sorts of bands and critics praising the this album, but I just don’t get what differentiates these guys from the countless other bands playing rehashed Swedish metal; I’d rather listen to At the Gates. It’s a solid album, don’t get me wrong, I just don’t see what’s so special.
1. Kanye West – Late Registration. No offense, but hip hop blows. And yeah, before you say, “Listen to real hip hop!,” I’ve done it. I’ve listened to this dude, Common, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, etc. etc. It’s not good.

3. Every release from The Militia Group in 2006 will be outstanding.
2.. Saosin releases a disappointing full length (I really hope that’s not the case, but based off that Warped EP, things aren’t looking too good. Beau said they were disappointed too, so who knows.)

Best Music Video of 2005
2. Thrice – Image Of the Invisible.

3. Punkrocks.net – Although everyone at PR.net probably hates me and my taste in music, I think PR is hilarious and I love the reviews, even if I disagree with a lot of them (I will never understand their comparison of Terminal to an Underoath cover band).
2. Forthesound.com – Good news.
