so ive seen yet another new (to my knowledge) sportscenter commercial and wanted to know everyones favorite new sc commercial. this one was with dan and danica patrick arguing over a parking space labeled D. Patrick....great. but my vote goes to the scott van pelt commercial with performance enhancers, best commercial ever.

No, the best one ever was back in the Pokemon fad and Dan Patrick was trying to trade his cards to people, haha. Or when they had like a personal and this random girl is like "I love espin" hahaaha.

hahahaha both of those are classic. but my favorite goes back a few years. brett hull moving his hand up and down in front of the screen saying 'did you see that' says it two more times...then on the third time he just says 'did you see that' without moving his hand....and says 'didnt think so'. i replay that commercial for people all the time...but i cant do it like brett.

my favorite out of those was the one with the cardinals blanket. The Yao Ming one is pretty cool too.

How much money do you think ESPN makes? It has to be a high number, its a calling for all sports fans. Does anyone know if they have stock, and if so, whats their price?

They are a subsidiary of ABC I think, so their stock is under whoever owns ABC. I agree, they are probably one of the biggest money making cable stations out there, but I don't know the numbers.

Disney owns ESPN. ESPN makes money on each game they own the rights to, but a local channel wants to show the game.

For example, ESPN owns the rights to Big East Basketball. For Comcast to show the Villanova game they would have had to pay $10,000 and also pay the announcers and so forth. Comcast already pays ESPN to use the ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Package for their basic cable package. Doesn't really make sense, but ESPN makes a ton of money. Also, ESPN is now going to be used in MADDEN 2007.
