a great cd with catchy hooks and great lyrics. something that gets stuck in our heads for weeks on end.

2. Between the Buried and Me- Alaska
one of the most amazing hardcore cds ever created. the guitar work is astonishing. jazz?

3. Alkaline Trio- Crimson
this band keeps getting better every time.

4. Death Cab For Cutie- Plans
songwriting taken to a whole new level. amazing.

5. Fischerspooner- Odyssey
dance. synths.

6. HORSE the band- the Mechanical Hand
absolute insanity.

7. Thrice- Vheissu
this cd was a huge change for Thrice and it was very influential to a lot of musicians.

8. Missy Elliot- The Cookbook

MCS' album really disappointed me, and was no where near my top anything. the rest id agree with though

Im also suprised to see MCS this high. I really loved "I am the movie" and their new album just didnt come close to recreating the greatness of that album. I am happy that they are enjoying success and it couldnt happen to better guys, but I just felt it wasnt as amazing as IATM. I still enjoy a lot of the songs on their new album, basically I dont want to diss the band because i still love them, i was just left a little dissapointed.
