Prediction of Gulf War II

My predictions.

March 13-17:
Heavy bombing of military targets in the no-fly zone, making it clean for a US invasion.
March 1?:
US finds out the UN doesn't really like them.
March 14:
60,000 US troops enter Turkey and get ready to be deployed in Iraq thru the North.
March 17th-March 18th:
On a Full moon, A large scale US force of Tanks, troops, and helicopters will enter the UN Demilitarized zone and cross into Iraq
March 18th-March 25th:
US Force literally "drives" into Iraq from the north and south with little Iraqi confintation... most of them surrendering. US Forces march into Al-Basrah and Krudish Mosul with Iraqis waving American flags and happy to see them be liberated. Air support takes out tanks and anti aircraft weapondry near Bagdad. Quickly, US forces drive into the Iraqi interior with little trouble.
By now... half of the Iraqi Military will be disabled.
March 26th-March 30th:
US intelligence find out that the Republican guard (60k soldiers +) and nearly 100k Iraqi Troops are in Baghdad ready to fight. Soldiers stay in homes, armouries will be in schools and mosques and apartment buildings will be filled with troops to attack from above.
March 31st:
US aircraft will disable power and take out bridges in Baghdad, bomb out all military installations in and around Baghdad.
April 1st-5th:
US tanks and helicopters will enter the city and take out Iraqi tanks in the city center, Troops will be deployed and over run the Iraqi force with low civilian causalities.
April 6th-10th:
After capturing the remaining Iraqi military, Saddam will be found, and brought before a war crimes committy. Soon after the US troops will find WMD everywhere in secret places. Iraq will be split up into 3 zones of occupation till a democracy is in effect.

Gulf War II.

They say now that Al Queda is in Iraq- so who knows what'll happen now.

Sounds accurate, here is what I HOPE would happen.
Troops go in, find Saddam. He gets stoned to death by his own people. Bin Laden is found with all of his closest compadres, slowly put to death by an ancient method of de-skining, where a layer of skin is ripped off of your body daily, die from loss of blood after a while, very painful.

i know that their original plan was to wait until after the full moon, so that they can attack at night with out being seen by the Iraqis, but then again, 90% of the Iraqi army will probably surrender the first day, so it may be a moot point.

oh i thought that the whole idea of slowly torturing someone to death was extremely fair and promoting the ideals of american justice and democracy that were under attack 9/11 and that we fought for in afghanistan and are looking to fight for in iraq.


translation: theres extreme hipocrasy on the parts of everyone who wants to fight to free the iraqis so as to spread democracy and the american flag, but at the same time wish to see their enemies stoned to death and have their skin ripped off

but here is what anti war people think will happen:

we will bomb every school, hospital, daycare, and nursery iraq
we will kill 10 million innocent iraqis
every iraqi who isnt killed will become a terrorist and attack the US at a later date

(an exaggeration of their actual thoughts, but you get the point)

i really dont know how likely it is that they really will find saddam . i mean they didnt catch him last time and they havnt been able to get him since gulf war I. And Saddam has like 10 copies of people that are made to look identical to him, which may prove kinda difficult cuz technically taht means they can catch 10 fakes if even that many to find him.

Durring the last war we knew were he was just about every day, and we purposly didn't bomb an of the place he might have been, becasue killing him would have turned him in to a martyr.

also in the last war, we didn't invade iraq, we only drove them out of kuwait, so ground forces could never actually find him.

yea, troops being deployed in baghdad will not simply overrun iraqi forces there...that's ridiculous, whether a lot of civilians are killed or not (which they will be), hundreds of american soldiers will be killed under you're proposed plan

and what makes you think saddam will be so easily found???

yea- they'll find him on the crapper in some presidential palace.

it'll probably be the way they do it, they cant seige the city- they have anti roit stuff and i guess that'll do?
