The Felix Culpa (www.myspace.com/thefelixculpa (http://www.myspace.com/thefelixculpa)) is an indie rock band from the IL/WI area. They've toured with Emery in the past, and have headlined shows with Dr. Manhattan before they blew up. The guys have intense, intelligent music, and I HIGHLY recommend checking out this 3 song EP, that's downloadable for free or on a donate-what-you-want basis.

They will be releasing a second full length fairly soon, and if you enjoy any of these songs, please check out their older stuff (They have a full length "Commitment", and an EP "Thought Control"). They've been mentioned countless times in Alternative Press and have some pretty great reviews of their releases online.

Also, If anyone lives in the Chicago area, they are direct support to Alkaline Trio on May 23rd at Chubby Rain. They were contacted by Alkaline Trio's management to open for them actually.

Agreed! Thanks for checking it out man..these guys deserve a lot more credit than a lot of the bands out there right now. They said the new album is pretty much complete, so it should only be a matter of time

Also, have you ever seen them live? They are like 5x better live than on their CDs, too, which is saying something. They always seem to throw everything they have into their live shows.

Hell yeah man. They added a new member and are releasing a cd soon... Their new songs sound amazing. If you get the chance, see them live. They won Ernie Ball's battle of the bands competition at Warped like a year ago or so, I think. The ALK3 show is so awesome for them, because ALK3's management contacted THEM, out of a huge list of bands including The Lawrence Arms and Dr.Manhattan that are slightly bigger than them. I know they're pretty excited about it.

I've seen them live 8 times! the last time was the halloween show in dekalb when they played as Guns 'N' Roses haha

I seriously need to convince their band to get a profile on this, so if anyone could check them out and give some feedback, it would be greatly appreciated. I've seen more support on this site for shitty myspace bands like 3oh!3 than this, when these guys actually deserve it. Check this out guys...it's a free download, so why not.
