hahahaha ...come live up here and then try to say that. we're right there with new york in terms of fan's passion and thats probably why we're #1 and #2 for most hated fans - because we care more and don't shutup. the Boston Bruins are horrible right now and the NHL is at an all-time low and I still can't get one cheap ticket to a game - they're all sold out. i don't see the houston texans stadium packed and thats an NFL franchise.

Well, I voted Philly, but to be fair they'd have to win a championship for me to hate seeing them win.

I have nothing against Philly, but I chose them. Only because I'm a Giants/Mets/Rangers fan so it's only fitting to not like the Eagles/Phillies/Flyers trio. I really don't care though. Except for the Yankees, I'm happy for any sports team when they win a Championship.

Yeah, I doubt there is a more consistently loyal section of fans than Boston. When the Red Sox were'nt winning the World Series, there were still Sox hats all over Boston.

A lot of people from NE move to the Florida area. I doubt most of them are bandwagon fans, same with NY. A lot of the Sox fans are there because of work or some kind of relocation, I assume. I doubt you would see bandwagon fans in NY when they have plenty of other teams to root for.

I dunno much about baseball but the Yanks don't choke aside from the last few playoff seasons (against boston, whoever it was last season, and the diamondbacks)...but 1996-2001 they seemed to be a huge powerhouse.

Yeah, New England teams have way more fans now. BUT, the new fans arent from New England. The fans in Boston have been there all along, thru thick and thin. Just because people in Oklahoma love the Sox and Patriots now doesnt say anything about the city of Boston and it's fans. The only state in New England that could ever make me wonder about bandwagon fans is CT, but nobody likes them anyway because 1/2 the state became Yankees fans in the mid 90s.
