I was split between Terrence Howard and Don Cheadle but decided on Cheadle. His performance really stuck in my mind from Crash, especially the scenes with his mother towards the end. The man is a fantastic actor, anyone who has seen Hotel Rwanda can tell you that, so it isn't any surprise that his performance stuck out in a movie filled with other great performances. Just look at that list, four from the same movie, and even more in the supporting actress category. Standing out in that group of actors from a great movie is an accomplishment in itself.

i went with paul since i didn't really like crash or syriana. loved sin city, but those are really lead actors in short films, rather than supporting actors.

Matt Dillon, awesome performance in Crash. I almost wanted to give it to Clive Owen because he got jacked by the Oscar's last year by not winning for Closer.

Actually, I think that Eugene Hutz should be on there for Everything Is Illuminated. I thought he did a great job, especially considering it was his frist large film role, and in two languages nonetheless!

Richard Jenkins was amazing in North Country, but so was Matt Dillon in Crash...
