Hell yeah dude, gotta represent him. I got mine a few months ago while they were in stock, now my friends can't find them anywhere. He's become very popular it seems haha. Not to mention the Bengal jerseys are fucking tight.

he is definitely talented. i am just not a fan of the whole touchdown dance thing. i like players more like Barry Sanders and Jerry Rice who would score a touchdown and find no need to perform a silly dance in front of everyone to get attention. shows more class to me.

I used to think that way, too.
But now, i look at it this way: it's entertainment.
Now, i'm not bothered by over the top celebrations anymore, because I've fully realized that it's, at the end of the day, entertainment.

I don't need a Chad Johnson jersey. I have a Keyshawn one. It channels the Johnson family spirit.

he's a good player but he also has a few really good receivers around him making life easier. i'm not a huge fan of him trying to make himself more marketable though...clinton portis does it too and i think it's sad.

Eh I think he's just having some fun, and hes also trying to get his team more Pub. He doesn't play for the Cowboys, Niners, or Giants or something he plays for the Cincy Bengals, the town isn't the epicenter of the world or a storied franchise.
What did he do this week?

have you watched a single bengal game this year? then you'd know he's facing double coverage every game, yet he still out performs the rest of his wide receiver crew basically everyweek(there were a few he struggled and housh took over). housh never gets doubled so you can't say the bengals having a good wr core helps him, because he draws the double coverage yet beats it all the time.

all solid #1's draw double coverage. johnson does a good job of dealing with it, but he also is benefitted by his other receivers. look at weeks 12, 13, and 14...double teams so TJ steps up and is the leading receiver. then they need to back off and respect the other receivers so suddenly johnson opens up and gets the single coverage. he's a good receiver who doesn't completely disappear when he's doubled, but he's also got good enough receivers around him to force teams to loosen coverage on him at points.

No receiver is always double covered, and not every time in a game does a #1 WR draw the #1 CB from the other team.

listing of his touchdown celebrations this year
1. The Riverdance, Sept. 25 at Chicago
His 18-yard touchdown catch put the Bengals up 7-0, and Johnson kicked up his heels. He had practiced in the bathroom before the game and said later he was inspired by a television commercial. Pittsburgh's Hines Ward would copy Johnson's move in the Oct. 23 game at Cincinnati.
2. CPR, Oct. 9 at Jacksonville
Johnson said he didn't know what else to do except try to revive the football; his 14-yard touchdown catch revived the Bengals, pulling them to within 13-7 at halftime in a Sunday night game.
3. The Proposal, Nov. 20 at Paul Brown Stadium vs. Indianapolis
Johnson said he cleared the gag with the team's cheerleaders a few nights before, at their practice. Having caught a 68-yard touchdown pass, he ran up the sideline to a group of Ben-Gals, dropped to one knee, took the hand of Daphne and asked the cheerleader to marry him.
4. Santa Chad, Dec. 24 at Paul Brown Stadium vs. Buffalo
Initially frustrated because his Santa bag of toys wasn't where it was supposed to be (in the end zone), Johnson found it and tossed autographed caps, T-shirts and footballs to fans in the stands behind the Bengals' bench. There would be no live deer as a prop, as Johnson jokingly had promised early in the week. His 41-yard catch-and-run gave the Bengals a 14-13 halftime lead.
5. The Putt, Nov. 27 at Paul Brown Stadium vs. Baltimore
Johnson set the football, grabbed a pylon and putted the ball. Then he pumped his fist, a la Tiger Woods.
6. Isaac Curtis Tribute, Sept. 18 at Paul Brown Stadium vs. Minnesota
Johnson had been chided on talk radio the week before for doing too much celebrating after scoring. A caller said Johnson should act more like another receiver who wore No. 85 - Curtis, who coolly lifted the ball over his head and dropped it behind his back. So that's what Johnson did. What he lacked in style points he made up for in honoring one of the franchise's all-time great wideouts.
7. Understated Chad, Dec. 18 at Detroit
A 1-yard pass from Carson Palmer gave the Bengals a 17-0 lead against the Lions in the game that would clinch a playoff berth and division title for Cincinnati. So serious was the task at hand that Johnson simply handed the ball to the game official.
8. Push-ups, Sept. 25 at Chicago
On his second touchdown that afternoon -- a 40-yard fly pattern -- Johnson put down the ball, dropped to do three questionable push-ups, stood and flexed his biceps.
9. Delay of game, Oct. 16 at Tennessee
Johnson was going to do a square dance move around the goal post but was delayed as game officials sorted out a pass interference call. The Bengals declined the penalty, but the wait prevented Johnson from dancing, much to the dismay of the crowd.
