thoughts?
seattle's red zone D has been huge but indy's been marching down the field. Hawks offense looks unstoppable right now, and Alexander is having his way. how much longer do peyton and james play?

seattle will probably win because it is in seattle

The game's going to be pretty even. I can't see either team really taking control until the 4th quarter.
Indy needs to win this. Sure they have homefield, but they need confidence to win, and Dungy's kid could pull apart the team emotionally (dunno, if that is why they are losing, or if they just stopped clicking last week). And the niners need an easier schedule than the texans...indy needs a win, sea needs a loss to help make that happen.

pretty uneventful first half. no 3 and outs, all good drives, just not that many points. Indy's been moving the ball, but can't punch it in. Ball control will be big in the 2nd half I'm sure.

just a thought, doesnt mean anything, but such a big deal was made about indy being so dominant and amazing, but if they lose today, then are they not as good as pittsburgh was last year? (15 - 1, most wins by an afc team ever, most overlooked accomplishment ever)

Meh, this game is the last thing on the Colts mind.

Seattle is beating on a half-Colts team. A lot of the Colts D is not playing, and no Manning, Harrison or James, so yeah, this is a win but not a huge victory for the Hawks.

Waste of a game. The Seahawks are over-rated, they should have blown out a second rate Indy team.

Eh...I'd say it was a pretty dominant victory...did you watch the game? Indy was never in it. Indy's 2nd rate team is still better than half the teams in the NFC, sadly. While the game didn't mean virtually anything for the colts, it meant a lot to the Hawks, sealing up home-field advantage.

Yeah, I went to the blowout against the Texans.

yeah, this game was pretty boring. But it's nice that we have home field advantage for the first time in franchise history. So the game against the packers is pointless. Except Shaun Alexander needs one more TD for the record.

Seahawks are going to the Super Bowl unless Rex Grossman gets hot, but whoever makes it in the AFC will win it.
The Panthers haven't looked very good since they blewout Tampa Bay many weeks ago.

yeah right. You're telling me the Bears can come into seattle, during the seahawks' best year in franchise history, and shut them down? Hell no, even if Rex Grossman gets hot, he's nowhere near the quality quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is. And I'm predicting the Patriots make it again and get romped. This is such a fucking fun year (cause my team is actually doing really well).....knock on wood.

If these teams were to meet in the SB, I really think the Colts would spank them. Even without their best receiver Harrison, and quite a few other starters, Manning drove them down the field on each of his drives with relative ease. Wayne had a big drop. Even Sorgi, who's hardly had any playing time in his career, with back up receivers played fairly well. They had almost 400 yards of offense. Get Dungy on the sidelines, guys like Diem, Simon, and June back on the field, and I doubt Seattle stays within 10 if the game was meaningful.

If Rex Grossman throws for 3 TDs, they will beat Seattle, I don't think it will happen, but it's a possibility. The defense will hold Seattle to 20 points.

I don't know dude....yeah the colts are very deadly when they're healthy and playing with a lot of passion. But we've never seen the seahawks in the super bowl...ever. Seahawks also didn't show the colts much today. I mean we both know that neither team was playing their hardest. Granted Seattle did have a lot more to play for but they didn't really show them much. I think it will be a hell of a game. Here's an interesting fact: only 1 of Indianapolis' teams that they lost to are going to the playoffs.....eh?

Not that interesting when they only lost two games after going 13-0. And I'm not going to be one of those idiots that call the 05 Chargers "the greatest team to miss the playoffs". They had their chances, and they choked. They take on the image of their coach too much.
I like what I saw from the Indy QB's and receivers today. A lot of wide open plays down the field. I think they can exploit that secondary and young LB corps.

Seattle is also missing 3 defensive backs right now, so except for Trufant (who only played a few series) it's mostly backups. Dyson and Herndon are expected back for the postseason, so it'll be different then.

I hope Seattle and Indy make the Super Bowl, then we will have an official Super Bowl thread that will exceed 2000 replies.

goddammit...if only Ken Hamlin was also coming back. He's awesome. We'd be unstoppable.

another interesting fact: the first 9 wins in Seattle's current 11 game winning streak was done without our best receiver....Darrel Jackson.

Dream is right. No chance in hell they'd shutout the Colts. Look what they did playing AFC teams this year. 24, 21, 20, and 6 points to the Ravens.
